Pork Chow Mein
An Irish, Asian dish :-)
Ingredients
- 1-2 pounds pork, cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 bunch of celery, sliced thinly
- 1 onion, sliced thinly
- 1 10 oz can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 16oz can bean sprouts, drained
- soy sauce
- corn starch
- 1/2 - 1 cup water
- 3 cups cooked brown rice
Instructions
- Brown pork in a little oil in a large frying pan. Remove from pan and set aside
- Add a little more oil and fry celery and onion until slightly soft.
- Add water chestnuts and bean sprouts. Return cooked pork to pan.
- Mi together corn starch and water. Add to ingredients in frying pan
- Add soy sauce to taste.
- Serve over rice.
