  1. Combine yeast and warm water in a large mixing bowl. Let stand until yeast dissolves, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, olive oil, salt, and sugar. Mix to blend, then knead until dough is smooth and elastic.
  3. Let dough rise in a warm place until doubled in volume, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Preheat oven to 475 degrees F. Prepare baking sheets or a baking stone.
  5. Divide dough, shape into rounds, and let rest. Then flatten into pizza bases and prepare with toppings.
  6. Bake until crust is browned, about 12 minutes.
