Oven Scrambled Eggs for a Crowd (12 Servings)
Silky smooth -- reminiscent of the Holy Rosary Holy Name breakfast eggs -- only better !! Hats off to Emil Passarelli!
Ingredients
- 1/2 c butter or margarine, melted
- 24 eggs
- 2 & 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 & 1/2 cups milk
- 1 lb. italian sausage, if you'd like, cooked and crumbled
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Pour melted butter into a glass 9 x 13 baking dish (or just melt it in the microwave in the dish). In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and salt until well blended.
Gradually whisk in milk. Pour egg mixture into the baking dish. Sprinkle sausage on top.
- Bake uncovered for 10 minutes, then stir, and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until eggs are set. Serve immediately.
